Primary Objective

In all cases the young person’s welfare and needs are paramount. We believe that a safe, comfortable journey helps minimise much of the stress and anxiety that the young person may be feeling.

Code of Practice

Excel Custodial Services operate a strict code of practice in all aspects of our work.

We use National Minimum Care Standards to shape our working practices. A personal log sheet for the duration of the journey is recorded and will be produced for the responsible person/carer on request.

A No Smoking policy is imposed in all Excel Custodial Services vehicles and work places. All Excel Custodial Services Custody Officers will be attired in uniforms or non-uniformed (where appropriate) in adherence to Excel Custodial Services professional standards.

In the unlikely event that a young person should abscond from care whilst under Excel Custodial Services supervision the appropriate authorities will be immediately contacted.
